First year at the university!

I have to say that I was really nervous before starting university. I didn’t know what my classmates or teachers would be like, or how the subjects would be…but when the classes started I realized that it wasn’t as terrible as I thought!

I really like the friendship we are forming…I never thought it was going to be that fun being at university, but when you have such good, funny and crazy people around you, the time seems to fly!

Maybe “something bad” in this whole year is that some subject are not so interesting for me…but you have to deal with them…it is in the future when you realize that these kind of subject are also important.

I think I should have studied more this year, because I always end up falling sleep so one of the things that I have to change for the next year is that, I have to organize my time and NOT study the day before the test! If I had studied for the majority of the tests I already had, now I would probably have better marks.

I really hope that next year  will be just like this! Or even better! I am really looking forward for what future holds!

"Groupies don't stay for breakfast"

The original title of this movie is “Groupies bleiben nicht zum Frühstück”

This is a german movie and it is about a love story between a normal girl and a rock star. Lila, who came back to Berlin after an exchange year in America, fall in love with Chris, the singer of the now mega famous band called “Berlin Mitte”.  The first time Lila met him in a garden by accident, she didn’t knew he was famous, which surprised Chris and arouses a certain interest in her. After that, they start talking and dating and it is in one of that meeting where Chris tells her that he is the singer of the band “Berlin Mitte”. Everything goes perfect until Paul, the manager of the band, remains him to keep focus on the band and not in “groupies”, which difficult their relationship. If that wasn’t enough, Lila also has to deal with the press, but also she has to defend herself of jealous fans girls. Things between the two of them start to complicate, but despite all the bad things, and as a common love story, they end up together.

The advantages and disadvantages of Holidays abroad

Holidays abroad have many advantages and for most people is the best thing in the entire world. First of all, you can meet new people and make new friends. Also, get to know a new culture could be very interesting and a wonderful experience.

However, holidays abroad also have some disadvantages. Firstly, the foreign language for some people can be a big problem, if you go to Germany, for example, and you don’t speak German or they don’t speak English and you do, there is no way to communicate. Secondly, money exchange is also a problem, sometimes you have certain money to go to another country but when you get there and you exchange money it can lower the price so you have less money than you think.

Despite the disadvantages, I love the holidays abroad because the experience to get to know new places and new people doesn’t have price. When I went to Disneyworld I felt like I was in heaven, despite I didn’t understand everything I read or hear, that didn’t matter because I made a friend in one of the hotel I stayed with my family…Definitely  it was the best holiday I ever have until now.

                                                          

The Blackout.

This weekend wasn’t the best for me. It really sucked because I couldn’t do any of the things that I had planned….let me tell you why:
Everything started on Friday. That day I wanted to finish some homework that I had to hand in this Tuesday, but I couldn’t do it because I didn’t  have my computer with me and the old computer in my apartment didn’t work properly, plus the internet connection wasn’t working either.
On Saturday morning I studied a little bit for History, and then my whole family and I were invited to have lunch on our friend’s house. I came back to my apartment at 7 pm (or something) and tried to work on my computer but I still didn’t have internet connection so I went to study once again but just when I was going to do that the electricity went off. The only thing I could do in that moment was play on my mobile, because I was completely alone and had no one to talk to….When the electricity came back, it went off a few minutes later so I gave up and went to bed early.

What should I do?

When you have an addiction, you have a dependence on something. It could be a dependence on alcohol, tobacco, drugs, food, work, shopping, etc.
But now, I'm going to talk about smoking addiction. This affect your body and your brain...and the consequences are severe. BUT! you are in time to stop this! and, guess what? I am going to give you some ideas.

*Try to stay away from smokers
*There are now nicotine chewing gum, so you can replace cigarettes for gum!
*Try to keep your mind busy, think positive things or do things that keep you away from smoking
*If you are extremely hungry once you stop smoking, eat fruit rather than junk or fast food, don't even think in the words "sweets or chocolate", because you can become a chocoholic!!

If you stop smoking you will have extra money, because all the money you spent on cigarettes, now you can spent on other things! like buying clothes, gifts, travel, etc.

Private life.


Her first boyfriend was Justin Timberlake, member of a famous band called N’Sync. They broke up in 2002. 
In 2004 she married Kevin Federline in Los Angeles, California. They had two children, Sean Preston (born in 2005) and Jayden James (born in 2006). They divorced on November 6, 2006.

Hello :). My name is Angela Galaz, I'm 19 years old and I come from Rancagua (actually I come from Requinoa, it's a small town near Rancagua) but now I live in Santiago with my brother, sister and cousin.


I like reading books and magazines, watching movies, listening to music, going to concerts, spend time with my friends and playing with my little cousin Rosario (She's my favourite one! I love her :D)


My hopes/dreams for the future are: 


*First finish this degree
*Get a job
*I would love to travel to: Los Angeles, New York, Disneyland (again <3), England, Germany, Italy, France and Spain.
*After a while I would like to live and work in one of the countries that I mentioning before...it would be even better if I could work for a music company there!
